Indiana Pediatric Readiness Facility Recognition Program
On behalf of the Indiana Emergency Medical Services for Children (iEMSC) and the Indiana State Department of Health, we are pleased to announce pilot phase of a voluntary 2-tier recognition program for Pediatric Readiness. Pediatric Readiness Facility Recognition Programs are intended to support and recognize emergency departments to ensure they have polices, procedure, and supplies to stabilize a child in a medical emergency. Indiana hospitals may apply to be recognized as a "Pediatric Ready" or "Pediatric Advanced" facility.
